Maintain Subject Enrolment Data {RPOPS-2}

The data extracted in {RPOPS-1} can be viewed, updated or manipulated with this option.

Although the option is mostly intended to view data extracted from {RPOPS-1} and to make changes to the projection figures, the option also allows the user to add new records. The idea would be, however, only to add records for new courses and qualifications, for example if a course is to be instituted in the middle of the three year rolling period. In such a case, no registration records will be available in the year used in {RPOPS-1}, but there may well be new registrations in the following years.

Fields in the option:

Block 1: Subject Projections

Field	Type & Length	Description
Year	YYYY	This is the Academic Year in the format YYYY. This field cannot be updated by the user.
Subject	A7	This field gives the Subject Code {SACADO-10} for the Academic Year. This field can also be updated by the user.
Department	N4	This field cannot be updated by the user. It displays the department of the subject, as defined on the Subject Information {SACADO-10}.
Subject Level	N2	This field cannot be updated by the user. The subject level, as defined on {SACADO-10}, is displayed here for the relevant Subject Code
CESM	N2	This field cannot be updated by the user. It is obtained from the Row 2.9 CESM classification on {SACADO-10}. Note that “CESM” is a SAPSE defined field, (acronym Classification of Educational Subject Material) and indicates the study field of the subject content.
Qualification	A6	The user can type in a valid Qualification Code or select one from the List of Values. The qualification code must be valid for the Academic Year, as defined in Qualifications {SACADO-1}
Qualification Type	N2	This field cannot be updated by the user.The qualification type linked to the Approved ID of the Qualification on {SACAD-13} is displayed for the relevant Qualification Code.
Offering Type	A2	This field can be updated by the user. However, the system will check whether a valid Qualification, Subject and Offering Type combination, as defined in the Curriculum {SACADO-17}.
Major Subject	A1	This field cannot be updated by the user.. The system will automatically display the information as given in the Curriculum {SACADO-17}
Credit	N4.3	This field cannot be updated by the user. The system will automatically display the SAPSE / STATS credit as entered in the Curriculum f{SACADO-17}. Note that this credit will be multiplied with the headcount (number of students enrolled for the subject) to determine projected FTE values.
Actual Headcount	N8	This field can be updated by the user. The user should, however, take care when updating this field. Normally, this field will be populated by running {RPOPS-1} for the correct Academic Year: therefore any user updated values may be overwritten if {RPOPS-1} is run after an update takes place. Also, the projection calculations will be based on this value, and this value should consequently be as close as possible to the true subject registration figures.
Projected Headcount	N8	This field will be populated once the program that does projection calculations {RPOPS-4} is run. The user can update the field, but this should not normally be necessary, since the “Final Headcount” field is intended to store adjusted projection figures.
Final Headcount	N8	This field can be updated by the user. When the program that does the projection calculations {RPOPS-4} is run, the user can select to have the projected values copied to this field. Any final adjustments or fine-tuning of projections can be done to the calculated projected enrolments. The values in this field will eventually be used to compile the Projection Reports for submission to the Department of Education.
Note that the user may only update the headcount values (Actual, Projected or Final) as allowed by the System Cycle in {RPMNT-1}.
