Subject Cancellation {s00009-11}

Students will be able to cancel certain subjects as well as main / modules via the iEnabler of their choice, but will not be able to uncancel subjects within the new system cycle 'D'.

Processing Rules:

When a student needs to cancel all his subjects, he / she must do a qualification cancellation, as only certain subjects can be cancelled within this option. All other rules as is in the 'back office' {SREGC-4} will still apply.
If a 'main' subject is selected for cancellation, the modules linked to the 'main' subject will be cancelled programmatically.
Modules can be cancelled without the 'main' subject been cancelled.
To cancel a subject 'tick' the subject in the 'Cancel' field and select a 'Reason' for cancellation.
Cancellation Date must fall within the system cycle 'D' - Web Cancellations as setup in {SMNT-2}, Tab: System Control Cycle - Enrolments.
If a subject is not available for cancellation, the student will not be able to 'tick' the subject as it will be flagged with a 'red dot' in the 'Cancel' field. See the 'Example' below.
When a subject(s) has been selected for cancellation and the student tick on 'Save Subject Cancellation' the subject(s) will be removed from the 'Subject Cancellation' page.
The 'Cancellation Date', 'Cancellation Reason' will be visible in the 'backoffice' {SREGC-4} as well as the exiting 'Status', 'Student Account' and a record will be created in the 'logfile'.

Fields in this option:

Cancel	A1	Student to 'click' in the tickbox if the subject needs to be cancelled. This is a mandatory field. When a subject is already cancelled or the System Cycle 'D' is not open for the student's subject attributes, an image will display in the place of the check box and the student will not be able to select the subject (see example below).
Subject	A7	Registered 'Subjects Codes' will be populated from the students qualification registration {SREGAR-1} - Tab: Subject Information.
Description	A40	The 'Description' of the registered subject will be populated from the Academic Structure {SACADO-10}
Reason		A LOV's will display all the 'Cancellation Reasons' that is available from {SCODE-25}. This is a mandatory field.
Registration Date	DD-MON-YYYY	The 'Registration Date' will be populated with the system date.
Qual No	N2	The 'Qualification Number' will be populated from the students qualification registration in {SREGAR-1}.
Academic Period	A2	The 'Academic Period' (block) will be populated from the students qualification registration in {SREGAR-1}.
Mode of Study	A2	The 'Mode of Study' (Offering Type) will be populated from the students qualification registration in {SREGAR-1}.
