Source of Funding per Subject, Block and Contract {SACAD-16}

This option is used to define alternate sources of funding per year, subject, block code and contract. This is used to indicate that an individual student is funded differently, for the particular subject, from the definition of the contract that is linked to qualification enrolment of the student, for that subject. A source of funding (SOF) is normally linked to a contract in {FSAC-10}, where contracts are defined.

To use this option, the following items must be defined:

The subject year and block code in {SACADO-12} Tab - Blocks, where subject block codes are defined.
The alternate sources of funding are system-defined and must be implemented in table RBCTAB as row 88010.
The subject source of funding is linked to an applicant in the planned subject option {SNAPPA-11} and / or to a student in the registration program {SDREGA-1}. The alternate sources of funding were primarily created to enable users in New Zealand to link students to alternate sources of funding per subject. This is reported in the SDR system to the NZ government to determine state funding.

Records cannot be deleted from this option if the source of funding code is used in the planned subject or subject registration options.

Field	Type & Length	Description
Academic Year	YYYY	Enter the Academic year. This year must exist in the subject definition block of the academic structure.
Subject Code	A7	Enter a valid subject code for the year entered in the previous block. A mouse right click on this field will display the subject description.
Block Code	A2	Enter a block code that is valid for the year and subject entered. A mouse right click on this field will display the block code description.
Source of Funding	N2	Enter the source of funding for this year, subject and block code.
Contract Code	A4	Enter a contract code.

Applications?	A1	Click the checkbox if this source of funding may be used in the student iEnabler Academic Application process.
Registrations?	A1	Click the checkbox if this source of funding may be used in the student iEnabler Academic Registration process.
