Maintain Stock Estimates {SDGUIM-4}


Stock estimates can either be manually captured within this option or computed using history student information with option {SDGUIM-3}.  The information in this screen can be used for planning of stock levels for a new academic year’s registration period.

Field Type

Description
Year N4  The projection year for which the information is captured or will be displayed when computed.
Link Type A1 An indicator which could be one of the following (Q)ualification  / (S)ubject or S(T)udent.
Block A2 The block code for the qualification / subject or student for which the projection was computed or entered.
Code A7 The applicable qualification or subject code.  If the estimate is on the level of (T) student, then no code needs to be captured for this field.
Study Period A1 The field is only applicable when the Link Type field is (Q) for  Qualifications.  If no particular study period is entered, the estimate value is for the qualification regardless of study periods.
Estimate Type A1 The value for this field can only be inserted with the compute option {SDGUIM-3} the field will display either a “P” or a “L , which indicates that it was a (L)inear or (P)ercentage projection.
Value N5.2 If a percentage estimate was run the percentage value will display in the field.
Offering Type A2 The offering type applicable for the estimate projection.
<List of Values> is available.
Store Code A2 The store code for which the record was computed or entered.
Enrolment Type A1 Application or Registration for which the estimate is applicable. Estimates will be computed with option {SDGUIM-3} when the users select with the parameter Enter Estimation Per Student.
Subject Type A1 An indication of Enrolled or Passed that the estimate is applicable on enrolled or passed subjects, this is only applicable if the previous field was marked as (R)egistration.
Preferred Language A1 The language (E)nglish or (A)lternate for which the estimate is applicable.
Estimate N9 The estimate value, which can either be computed with {SDGUIM-3} or else, captured manually.  The computed value can be determined on the basis of a linear projection or a percentage of registration or application records.
