Link Students to Comments  {SSTUDC-3}


This option allows the user to link the comments, as were created in option {SSTUDC-2}, to students in order to print these comments on the examination schedule {SSTURN-5}.

The applicable examinations system cycle must be selected before this option can be used. The cycles as set up in option {SSTUDY-1b2}, are displayed and the user must select the appropriate cycle and press <NEXT BLOCK> to enter the comments.

Fields in this option:

Block 2:   Comments on Students (Codes).

Length		 Description
Student Number N9 The student number to whom this comment applies.
Comment Code A4 The comment to be used when the schedule is printed. The description is displayed. The <LIST> function will display all valid codes.
Username A10 The username of the user who created the record is automatically entered here, but may be updated by the user. The <LIST> function will display all valid codes.
Qualification A6 The qualification for which the student is registered. The <LIST> function will display all valid codes.
Block A2 The block for the selected qualification will be displayed.
Date DD-MON-YYYY The system date on which the record is created.
Examination Year YYYY The examination year as selected when the option was entered.
Month N2 The examination month for the exam cycle, as selected when the option was entered.

Block 3:   Comments on Students

Comment   A60 The user may enter comments to be printed on the students'  results on {SSTURN-5}.
Username A10 The username of the user who created the record is automatically entered here, but may be updated by the user. The <LIST> function will display all valid codes.
Examination Year YYYY The examination year as selected when the option was entered.
Month N2 The examination month for the exam cycle as selected when the option was entered.
