Equivalent Subjects other Universities {SSTUDS-5}

This option is used to capture equivalent subjects for other institutions and match them with subjects within the institution.

Prerequisites to use this option:

System Cycle 'S' must be open on {SMNT-2}, TAB - Academic Structure and Exams.
The internal Subject Code must be defined on {SACADO-10} - Subject Information for the year for which the system cycle 'Z' is defined.
The Institution Code must be defined on {GCS-2}.
An active service record must exist on {PBOP-1} for the Authorising Person to be specified.

Fields in this option:

Block 1: Equivalent Subjects from Other Universities.

All fields can be updateable.

Field	Type & Length	Description
Start Date	DD-MON-YYYY	The date from which the subject is valid.
End Date	DD-MON-YYYY	The end date for which the subject is valid.
Institution Code	N4	The institution code for which the record is created.
External Subject Code	A10	The subject code as it exists at the institution selected in the previous field.
External Subject Description	A45	The description for the external subject code.
Subject Code	A7	The internal subject code. The code must be valid for the academic structure for system cycle 'Z'.
Authorising Person	N9	The personnel number of the person who approves the validity of the record.
Approval Date	DD-MON-YYYY	The date on which the validity of the record is approved.
