Function Definitions  {BMNT-1}


This option defines the characteristics of a function.


Fields in the option:

Block 1:  Function Types

Field Type

Length		 Description
Function Code A4  A unique code to identify the function.
Description  A30 A description of the function.
Graduation Indicator A1 Is this function a graduation ceremony (Y/N).
Noise Level A1 The noise level can be (L)ow, (N)ormal, (H)igh or (E)xcessively high.
Setup Time  N2 The number of hours it takes to prepare the venue for this type of function.
Clean up Time  N2 The number of hours required to clean up the venue after this type of function has taken place.
Function Weight N3.2 The weight carried by this function for billing purposes.  Refer to all the tariff calculations in option {BOPS-1} for details of how this weight is used in the calculation process.
Include in STATS A1 Must the use of the venue for this function type be included for STATS purposes (Y/N).
Refundable Deposit Percentage N3.2 The percentage of venue costs payable by way of a refundable deposit.
Refundable Deposit Payable
(No. of Days before Function)		 N2 The minimum number of days before the function that the deposit is payable.
Refundable Deposit Repayable
(No. of Days after Function)		 N2 The number of days after the function that the deposit will be refunded.
Deposit Percentage
(Down payment) 		 N3.2 The percentage of venue costs to be paid as a down payment.  This is not refundable.
Deposit Payable
(Down payment - No. of Days before Function)		 N2 The minimum number of days before the function that the down payment is payable.
Balance Payable
(No. of Days before Function)		 N2 The minimum number of days before the function that the balance owing (i.e. the venue costs less the down payment) is payable.
Account Type for Cost A4 The AR account type for cost as define in option {FCSC-21}. List of values are available.  Only Account Types define for AR, active and for the AR Category B can be used.
Account Type for Deposit A4 The AR account type for deposit as define in option {FCSC-21}. List of values are available.  Only Account Types define for AR, active and for the AR Category B can be used.
Income Account A8 The income account for the function as define in option {FCSO-3}. List of values are available.
