Lookup Table Types {FPRG-4}

The information in this table is a pre-requisite for the detail of the Lookup Tables (option {FPRG-5}): this is, in turn, a pre-requisite for the creation of the detail of certain earnings and deductions (options {FPRG-7} and {FPRI-2}).

Note: The following Table Codes are reserved and are provided with the system:

Table Code 1, reserved for the PAYE Tax Table
Table Code 9998, reserved for Retirement Funding pre-tax limits:

RSA (introduced w.e.f. 01-Mar-2016) used for the percentage and annual monetary cap
Namibia used for the annual monetary cap

Table Code 9998, reserved for the Retirement Fund percentage and annual monetary cap (applicable to SA clients only, introduced W.E.F 01-Mar-2016)
Table Code 9999, reserved for the Reimbursive Travel Rates i.e. the maximum rate per km and maximum number of km that may be reported under Tax Code 3701 (applicable to SA clients only)

Fields in this option:

Box 1: Lookup Table Names.

Field	Type & Length	Description
Code	N4	A unique code must be entered.
Name	A30	The name of the table is entered, for example SOMS, SAMED, AIPF, PGI, etc.
Table Indicator	A6	This field cannot be updated by the user. This only applies to clients in UK.
