A new notch is inserted into the Salary Notch Record in the Fixed Salary Detail {FPRI-1} for each applicable employee who is in service, as per the Old/New Notch values, per Appointment Type entered in "Create New Notches" {FPRU-2}.
The Audit Trail generated when this program is executed
will display the details, per Appointment Type, per employee. The Old
Notch/New Notch values and Old Barrier Notch/New Barrier Notch values
will be reported. Where there is no change to the Notch/Barrier Notch Value, *no change* will be reported.
Before this program can be used, new Notches per Appointment Type should exist in "Create New Notches" {FPRU-2}.
