Imports {LILO-2}

With this option, Inter-lending imports can be maintained, i.e. documents located in other libraries that are to be “imported” for a local library user.

Fields in the option:

Block 1: Imports

Field	Type & Length	Description
Print	A1	The user can generate a printout of this transaction.
Import Number	N7	This number will be generated by the system when the record is <COMMIT>ted.
Req Number	A7	The request number, generated by SABINET on the search, can be entered here.
Date Requested	DD-MON-YYYY	The system date will be displayed, but can be updated.
Supplying Library
SAUNICAT Code	A4	The appropriate code should be entered. The <LIST> facility will display the valid codes as they have been entered under option {LILM-1}. The name will be displayed.
Located on	A6	Enter the code where the document was located. The <LIST> facility will display the valid codes as they have been entered under option {LILC-2}.
Shelf Number	A25	The shelf number can be entered in this field.
Sabinet Rid	A15	The SABINET RID number can be entered.
Document Requested
Title/Journal Title	A60	The title of the document should be entered.
Author	A60	The author can be entered.
Place	A20	The place of publication can be entered.
Publisher	A20	The publisher can be entered.
Publication Date	A20	The publication date should be entered.
Edition	A12	The edition can be entered.
Ref. Source	A30	The source of reference can be entered.
Article Title	A65	The title of the article can be entered.
Volume Number	A40	The volume number.
Pages	A30	The pages that were requested, for example 98-101.
Valid Until	DD-MON-YYYY	Date until which this import is valid.

Document Received	A6	A code can be entered. The <LIST> facility will display the valid codes as entered under option {LPMC-3}.
Ref. Number	N8	Enter the registered post reference number here.
Create Item	A1	When “Y” is chosen, the system will generate an item number and create an item record. A specific range for the Inter-lending Item record should be defined under option {LPMM-4} for the type “L”.
Item	N8	The item number is displayed when this record is <COMMIT>ted.
Date Received	DD-MON-YYYY	The date on which this document was received can be entered in this field.
Return Loan Before	DD-MON-YYYY	The return date is calculated by the system from the parameter entered under option {LCIC-3}.
Renewed Until	DD-MON-YYYY	A renewal date can be entered when necessary.
Remarks	A65	Remarks and notes can be entered in this field.
Requested for
User Type and Number	A1/N9	Enter the type and number, or scan the user card. The user name will be displayed.
Primary Department	N4	The primary department of this user will display, as well as the contact telephone number.
Primary Qual	A6	The primary qualification of this user is displayed.

Units Due	N4	The number of units due can be entered.
Units Forwarded	N4	The number of units forwarded can be entered. The amount is displayed and the system will do the necessary calculations.
Units Refunded/Owed		The number of units refunded or owed as calculated by the system, will be displayed.
Finalisation Detail
Document Supplied to User on	DD-MON-YYYY	The date cadirectly n be entered.
Document Returned on	DD-MON-YYYY	Return date should be entered.
Reg. Post Number	N8	A registered post number can be entered in this field if applicable.
Document not Supplied
Reason	A6	The code should be entered in this field. The <LIST> facility will display the valid codes, as, entered under option {LILC-4}.
