Student Dashboard {PE0002-15}

The Student Dashboard can be displayed from the Student iEnabler and the Personnel iEnabler.

The student dashboard provides an overview of student information for view purposes only.
From the Student iEnabler the student may only view his own information,
while the Personnel iEnabler (Lecturer Web) allows the lecturer to search which student to display.

The display of additional information can be managed using SOD's, and the SOD controlling the display is indicated below.
The default value for the SOD is set to 'Y' on {SMNT-12} indicating that the information should be displayed.

In order to make this process visible on the Student iEnabler, the Student Dashboard must be made active under the Academic Progress Business Function:
Open the {PWEBM-1} Maintain Business Functions menu option.

Search Business Function 'PE0027' Academic Progress.
Navigate to Business Function Processes for Menu 'PE0002' and Option '15' (Student Dashboard). The following fields must be in place for this menu and option:

Mandatory Business Process 'N-No'
Active 'Y-Yes'
Key Field '0'
System Created 'Y'
Dependant on Previous Mandatory Process 'N-No'

In order to make this process visible on the Personnel iEnabler, the Student Dashboard must be made active under the Lecturer Web Business Function:
Open the {PWEBM-1} Maintain Business Functions menu option.

Search Business Function 'PL0001' Lecturers Web
Navigate to Business Function Processes for Menu 'PE0002' and option '15' (Student Dashboard). The following fields must be in place for this menu and option:

Mandatory Business Process 'N-No'
Active 'Y-Yes'
Key Field '0'
System Created 'Y'
Dependant on Previous Mandatory Process 'N-No'

In both cases Update access must be granted for the Function 'WEBS', Menu 'PE0002' and Option 15 on the 'Functions and Menu Options' {USERS-2} tab.

From the Lecturers Web the Lecturer can enter any of the following search criteria for the student to be displayed:

SEARCH FACILITY	DESCRIPTION
Student Number	From {SREGB-1} the Student Number or use the Search Facility.
Surname	For Search purposes enter the Student Surname
Initials	To search on Initials.
Date of Birth	Birthdate if known.
Passport Number	If the Student not a citizen enter Passport number.
ID Number	Identification Number.

School Leaving Information	The Display of School leaving information is enabled/disabled by the SOD for Show School Leaving Info on Stud Dashboard (D1/SI). Cycle 0 to is used to suppress the display of Matric results until it is formally released. This cycle is not available on {SMNT-2} since clients forget to close the cycle in January. This cycle will be maintained by Adapt IT using dates provided by USAF every year.
Application Information	The Display of Application information is enabled/disabled by the SOD for Show Application Info on Stud Dashboard (D2/SI). This information from back office {SNAPPA-3} Academic Application See Example of Application Information.
Registration Information	The Display of Registration information is enabled/disabled by the SOD for Show Registration Info on Stud Dashboard (D3/SI). This information from back office {SSTUDA-7} Qualifications and Subjects. See Example of Registration Information, This Feature can expand by selecting the "More Registration Information". Student results will always be displayed if the dashboard is accessed from the Lecturer iEnabler. Only the description of exclusion statuses linked to action 'PO','PA','PW','FW','LW' will be displayed in the column " Withheld Reason" . Results are displayed regardless of student being linked to status action code 'SS' on {SREGL-2}.
Graduation Information	This information from back office {SSTUD7-12}. See Example of Graduation_Information
Residence Information	The Display of Residence information is enabled/disabled by the SOD for Show Residence Info on Stud Dashboard (D4/SI). This information from back office {SNAPPA-2} and {SREG-4} See Example of Residence Information.
Financial Information	The Display of Financial information is enabled/disabled by the SOD for Show Finance Info on Stud Dashboard (D5/SI). This information from back office {FSAO-12} Financial Information. See Example of Financial Information.
Academic Appeal Lecturer Motivation	This information from back office {SSTUDS-3} Service Request. See Example of Service Request
Textual Data	This information from back office {SREGB-5} Textual Data on the Student Record. See Example of Textual data. Only textual date types defined as "Use Dash = 'Y'" on {SCODE3-8} will be displayed.
Student Exclusion Statuses	This information from back office {SREGL-2} Exclusion Statuses. See Example of Exclusions. Only active exclusions will be displayed.
