Applications per Advert Code {PERS-1}

This menu option provides HR with a view of the applications received for a position that has been advertised on eRecruitment and where applicants have applied for the position using the eRecruitment functionality.  Manual capturing of applications is not allowed. 

The information can be accessed from the time that the advert has opened on eRecruitment (i.e. where the Start Date is => sysdate) {PERO-1 Approval and Placement of Advert on eRecruitment}, even if no Applications have yet been received.   The number of applicants and summary details of each applicant is displayed, which may be useful when determining if the date range that applications are opened for should be extended.  The information can be exported in excel.  In addition the information may be used to head hunt potential candidates for similar positions.

This Menu Option is also used to maintain the Application Status of each applicant, as detailed below:

Applications can be manually updated for each applicant or updated in bulk {PERSR-4 Bulk Update of Application Statuses}. 

A Comments field is also available for the recording of notes.

 Search Panel

This panel is used to initiate the search for an Advert Code. The Advert Code and Start Date {PERO-1 Approval and Placement of Advert on eRecruitment}is a mandatory Search field

NOTE: The user will be unable to insert an Advert Code and Start date into this field.

The following details for the Advert Code and Start Date selected above will be displayed:

Division / Faculty DISPLAY Division/Faculty defined on Post Establishment {PPEO-1}.
Faculty Name DISPLAY Populated from Division / Faculty Code.
Department DISPLAY Primary Department code defined on Post Establishment {PPEO-1}
Department Name DISPLAY Populated from Department Code of the Post.{PPEO-1}
Campus DISPLAY Display Campus from the Post Structure {PPEO-1}
Type of Appointment DISPLAY Display the Type of Appointment from the set up on Approval and Placement of Advert on eRecruitment {PERO-1}
Employment start period for contract DISPLAY (DD-MON-YYYY). The Start Date of Contract. 
Employment end period for contract DISPLAY (DD-MON-YYYY). The End date of the contract.
Period of Appointment in Months DISPLAY Display the Period of Appointment in Months from the set up on Approval and Placement of Advert on eRecruitment {PERO-1}
Advert Start Date DISPLAY (DD-MON-YYYY). The Start Date of the Advert on eRecruitment. Start Date is captured in menu option Approval and Placement of  Advert on e-Recruitment {PERO-1}.
Advert End Date DISPLAY (DD-MON-YYYY). The End date of the Advert on eRecruitment. The End date is captured in menu option Approval and Placement of  Advert on e-Recruitment {PERO-1}.
Total Number of Applications DISPLAY The total number of eRecruitment Applications received for the Advert

Maintain Applications Panel

The Applicants details for the Advert Code / Start Date are displayed.  The Application Status and Remarks fields are the only fields that are updateable.

Online Application Date DISPLAY The date on which the Applicant submitted their application through eRecruitment
