This option is directed for the lecturer to enter final marks.
a. Cycle ‘E’ must be open in order to update Final Marks
The lecturer will be able to insert/update final marks for the
year where the sysdate is between the Start and End Census Date, for
all subjects if:
A. He/she is an active Personnel member on the system {
PBOP-2}
B. He/she must be linked to entry type
‘Paper Marks’ for the exam year, exam month and subject
combination as defined in {
PWEBM-8}
C. At least one student is registered for the subject without a cancellation date. {
SSTUDY-21b3}
1. View Marks Alphabetically/Numerically
The Student Number, Student Name, Papers as defined in {
SSTUD3-2b2}, Full Period Mark, Exam Mark, Final Mark, Result Code, Result Description, Pass/Fail will be displayed.
When the user clicks on "View Marks Numerically/Alphabetically", the
following fields will be displayed: Student Number, Student Name,
Paper, Full Period Mark, Exam Mark, Final Mark, Result Code, Result
Description and Pass/Fail indicator.
Two buttons are available, "MS Excel Format" and "Print Report". When
the user clicks on "MS Excel Format" the report will be displayed in
Excel Format and can be saved or printed directly to the printer. By
choosing the "Print Report" button, the report can be printed in the
format, as displayed by the program.
2. Enter Final Marks Numerically /Alphabetically
The Student Number, Student Name, Full Period Mark, Exam Mark and Final Mark will be
displayed. If a mark already exists, the lecturer will be able to
change the final mark and the changes will write to the Log file {
SMNTL-4}
3. Enter Individual Final Marks
The Student Number and Final Mark or Final Result can be entered and saved in
this option. If the subject is marked as Competence = Y on {
SACAD-14}, the Student Number and Final Result can be entered, else the Student Number and Final Mark can be entered.
4. Calculation Criteria
The calculation criteria as created on {
SSTUD3-2} will be displayed in this option.
5. View/Upload of Documents
This option is available if the program is linked to appropriate DSR categories in {
GDOCS-4}.
6. Notes
Notes can be uploaded if the program is linked in {
GCS2-14} to the appropriate note codes.
