Post Funding {PPEO-4}

This screen may be used to record details of the funding source(s) for posts. Thus, details of external, as well as internal funding of posts may be recorded.

The information in this page is used by the iEnabler Appointment Budget Validation {sp_p00_p04pkg.html}.
The program "Post Budget Values to Posts" {MSBOP-3}, will update information in this page under certain conditions.

Fields in this option:

Field	Type & Length	Description
Funding Body	A4	Refer to Funding Bodies {GCS-23} to maintain the list of values.
Amount Funded	N15.2	Supply the value of the funding.
% Funded	N3.2	Of the total funding for the post, what percentage does the amount in Amount Funded represent?
Frequency	N2	Supply the frequency in months of the amount in Amount Funded. That is, is it payable monthly, annually etc?
Funding Start Date	DD-MON-YYYY	Supply the date on which the funding commences.
Funding End Date	DD-MON-YYYY	Supply the date on which the funding ceases.
Amount Committed	N15.2	This field is used to indicate the amount that is already committed due to the appointment of personnel members through the iEnabler Appointments System {P00003-4} The iEnabler Appointments System will use the funding body indicated in the System Operational Definition {GCS2-11} "FB - Funding Body for Commitments" for Subsystem "HR".

This screen may be used to record details of the funding source(s) for posts for eRecruitment purposes. Thus, details of external, as well as internal funding of posts may be recorded. Please note: These amounts are not used in the salary budget process. The amounts are not impacted by any appointments into posts, io.e., if the budget should be reduced because appointments existed for 6 months of the year and the new appointment will only be valid for the remaining 6 months then the budget amounts must be manually maintained.

eRecruitment Internally funded budget amount	N15.2	This field is used to indicate the amount that is budgeted for eRecruitment purposes.
eRecruitment Externally funded budget amount	N15.2	This field is used to indicate the amount that is budgeted for eRecruitment purposes.
Total Budget amount	N15.2	This field is a display field which indicates the total amount that is budgeted for eRecruitment purposes.
eRecruitment Budget start date	DD-MON-YYYY	Supply the date on which the funding commences.
eRecruitment Budget end date	DD-MON-YYYY	Supply the date on which the funding ceases.
Note	A100	This field is used to describe any detail regarding the budget and budget amounts who funded it, which funding body to refer to etc.
