Textual Remarks on Qualifications / Subjects {SACADT-1}

This option is used to define textual data for a qualification, subject or contract. It will be used in the back office as well as on the Student iEnabler.

The information will be printed / displayed on various options:

If text type code ITSQCI is linked to the qualification, the description of the text type will display as a warning on {SNAPPA-1}.
On entering the qualification code on {SDREGA-1}, the program will check if this code is linked to textual type "ITSQCI" . If the qualification is linked to this text type, the description of the text type will be displayed as a warning. Linking a qualification to this textual type indicates that the qualification is undergoing changes and the user is warned about these changes.
Textual data is copied from one academic year to another via {SACAD-3}.
The detail can be printed via {SACADT-4}.
The detail regarding qualifications will be downloaded with {SSTUD7-8}.
The detail regarding qualifications for the textual type 'WEB' will be displayed on the Academic enquiry, application and registration modules on the Student iEnabler.

Fields in the option:

Field	Type & Length	Description
Academic Year	N4	The academic year in respect of which the remarks are made. This field is mandatory for Search purposes
Subj. / Qual. / Contr. Indicator	A1	Indicates whether the remarks are in respect of a Subject or a Qualification or a Contract. When searching, either an Indicator or Code must be specified.
Subj. / Qual. / Contr. Code	A7	The valid subject or qualification code, depending on the value in the previous field. The <LIST OF VALUES> function will display all valid codes. When searching, either an Indicator or Code must be specified. Display description for Subject, Qualification or Contract.
Text Type	A10	The type of text in respect of which remarks are now entered. The <LIST OF VALUES> function will display all valid codes, as created in option {SCODE3-8} with indicator 'G'-General. The description will be displayed.
Line Number	N3	A line number is entered here to indicate in which sequence the remarks should be displayed or reported. When remarks are entered, the user is advised to use numbers that do not follow directly upon each other in order leave space for inserting data at a later stage, e.g. 1, 5, 10, etc.
Text	A2500	The user may enter any remarks up to 2500 characters in this field.
