Override of Student Statuses {SREGL-6}

This option may be used to view and override student statuses. The override of the status will be for the duration of all the user sessions by making use of an ORACLE table although the override information will be kept on the Log table of all Student Overrides. If a user has more than one session open, the override done in one session will be active in the other session. Overriding of status will be by entering an appropriate reason code or choose from a list of values and replace the code description or additional text

Validations are added on {SMNT-1} to indicate that the pop-up must show all statuses linked to the student or only those relevant to the program in use.

Reason codes are defined on option {SCODE-33} Reason Codes.

A status is active if there is no end date or the end date is greater than the system date. The current initial popup is replaced with a screen showing the active statuses linked to student. The user must acknowledge each status on the initial popup according to the set-up. Once all the statuses have been acknowledged, the screen will be dismissed. Users with view only access to the option that call the new pop-up screen need not acknowledge the status. The standard exit mechanism will be used to close the screen. If the new validation 'AV' is set to 'Yes' then all the active statuses linked to student will be shown. The statuses linked to option will show first and then the rest will follow. If new validation 'AV' is set to 'No' then only statuses linked to the program will be shown. No statuses need to be acknowledged if called from the right click action and the user will use the standard exit mechanism.
