Rubric Codes {SSTUD3-26}

Define the Rubric Codes here and link them to Result Codes on block 2.

A rubric provide guidelines according to which an assessor is guided to allocate an appropriate outcome for an assignment or other work submitted by a student that cannot be objectively evaluated. This tool is used to evaluate work with the professional judgment evaluation method.

Professional judgment is based on the fact that no objective evaluation of submitted work can be done e.g. 1+1 = 2. There can be no other correct answer. But evaluating an essay about the influence of the discovery of the human genome on civilization does not have a single correct outcome. The assessor is dependant on several areas of expertise as well as experience to determine the effectiveness of the student's submission. He/she uses the acquired professional judgment to allocate an appropriate outcome. Several students can submit contrasting ideas and still perform on the same level.

Result Codes should exist and be active on {SCODE-23}.

Block 1: Rubric

Code	A4	Rubric code should be entered here.
Description	A40	Description of the Rubric Code.
Active	A1	Is this Rubric Codes still active? Record can be made inactive only if all the records for the Rubric is inactive on the second block

Block 2: Linking of Rubric to Result Codes

When records are queried here, it will be sorted by Rubric Code then Pass/Fail indicator on the Result and the Sequence, (first the Fail results and sequence, then the Pass results and sequence).

Becaus the program where these rubric results are displayed can only display a maximum of 5 results, this block limits the number of results that can be linked to a rubric to 5.

Result Code	A2	Result Codes that was defined and active in {SCODE-23}. Result Codes should not include any of the results of "Result for Competence" or "Result for not yet Competent" on {SSTUD3-1} Tab - Default Examination Admission and Final Result Criteria.
Sequence	N3	Sequence of the Result Code in the Rubric.
Active	A1	Is the combination of Rubric and Result Code still active?
