Bulk Registration of Applications (Qualification and Subject Registration)  {SSTUD4-25}

This option is used to progress students automatically to a next year.  Registration records (Qualification and Subject records) can be created for students. 


A Census Record for the year to which the students should be promoted must exist on {GOPS-1}.
The Academic Structure must exist for the year to which the student will be promoted to.
The event codes P1,P2 and P3 must be linked to applicable admission status codes in {SCAO1-6}.

     1 When input parameter 8 - 'Only Auto Progressed Applications will be Registered?' :
  • Y, Only use applications with "Admit" status for Event P1 / P2 / P3, setup in {SCAO1-6}.
  • N, Use all applications with "Admit" Status.

Processing
Rules		      
 1 When the Registration is successful, remove all non-engagement statuses linked against the student.
 2 For each Subject Registered:
  • If the Subject is a module:
    • When input parameter 9 = 'Y', If there was any assessment and marktype records linked to the subject in the previous year, copy these records to the current registration year.
 3 Only planned subject(s), linked to the qualification (if any), will automatically be registered.


Notes      
 1 Any warnings issued when the student should be registered in the backoffice will now result in a fatal error because there is no human involvement to determine what action should be taken regarding the warning.
 2 Enrolment overlapping uses block dates (setup in {GOPS-1}), not qualification/subject start and end dates.
