- @Module subjects are difined with the field "Module
Subject Type on {SSTUD3-1} Tab Default Exam Admission and Final Mark Criteria.
- The "Minimum Final Mark" that the module should have and
the "Module Subject Weight" that will be used in calculation of the
Mother subject's mark is selected from {SSTUD3-2} Tab Exam Admission and Final Mark Criteria.
- If the Module subject don't have a "Related Subject" on {SACADO-10} , error "Module subject without related subject code XXXXXXX" will print
- The "Minimum Module Subjects Passed", is selected from {SSTUD3-2} Tab Exam Admission and Final Mark Criteria for the Mother Subject.
If there is no value in this field, the number of modules, which are
linked to the mother subject, will be taken as the minimum.
- The latest registration of a module subject will be
selected and the final mark of that particular record will be used.
Modules, which have been passed during previous years of registration,
will be taken into account.
- The user may use the main examination year and month when
calculating the supplementary examinations by using “Exam Year of
Module Subj included for Mother Subject Calc” and “Enter
Exam Month of Module Subject included for Mother Subject Calc”.
The module subject for which a subsequent examination was given will
then be included in the calculation on the main examination.
- If a student is linked to a status code on {SREGL-2} that leads to an action code ‘UR’ or
‘QR’ on {SCODE-9} the system will not compute the Mother Subject
Result . Error message "No update allowed, student is linked to Exclusion Status Code: XXXXX" will display.
- Mother Subject will get result of input parameter "Result Code if
minimum requirements not met" if any one of the module students has a
Final Mark less than Field "Minimum Final Mark" on {SSTUD3-2} Tab Exam Admission and Final Mark Criteria
- If Module is exempt and Final Mark is NULL - make the Final Mark equal to the low limite of the result that leads to 'P'
- If Module is not exempt and Module Final Mark is NULL, give error: "No
Final Mark NNNNNNNNN(student number) XXXXXX(module subject)
YYYY(registration year) NN(month)"
- Else calculate Final Mark (Final Mark of Module * Weight of Module) and If country is IRL - Add weights of modules together
- Else calculate Final Mark (Final Mark of Module * Weight of Module) and If country is IRL - Add weights of modules together
- If countrty is not IRL - Add weights of modules together
- If the adds weights is equal to 0, make Final Mark = 0
- Else calculated Final Mark / total weights as new Final Mark
- If country is IRL - (calculated Final Mark / Out of Mark {SACADO-10}) * 100 as new Final Mark
- If Less Modules were passed than the "Minimum Module Subjects Passed" on {SSTUD3-2} Tab Exam Admission and Final Mark Criteria, the Mother Subject will get result of input parameter "Result Code if
minimum requirements not met"
- Else select result from criteria on {SSTUD3-2} Tab Final Mark and Result Criteria
- This option can be generated on (T)rial or (U)pdate and be done repeatedly.@@
