Link Auto Progression Stage Rules {SSTUDP-16}


This option is used to link Rules that must be applied to each Approval stage within the Auto Promotion/Progression Process.


A standard set of Progression / Promotion stage rules are provided and can be selected from Promotion Rules.
Institutions may request additional Rules.  The Database Procedures to execute these rules will be created by Adaptit.

Process Code A10 The Process code for Auto Progression is PROG
Approval Stage Code A5 Even though the Approval Stage Codes can be user defined, the following approval stages are generally configured:
  • PPRO Pre-Progression, refers to the selection process for students to consider for promotion. 
  • ARC Annual Result Calculation, to calculate the Annual Results upon which Promotion will be based. 
  • PVAL Progression Validation, to determine if a student can progress to a next study period.
  • POUT Progression Path, determines what happens after validation; i.e. create application, remove existing application.
Validation Rule Code A4 Link validation rule code to be performed within a stage as defined in {SSTUDP-15}.  Standard rules can be selected from Promotion Rules.
