Appointment Type Rules {FPRG-10}

This program may be used by the Payroll System Administrator to maintain system rules applicable to the Payroll System that is linked to Appointment Types {PACS-1}

Before this option can be used, Appointment Types {PACS-1} will need to exist.

Most of the values that can be maintained here are also available through Appointment Types {PACS-1} .

This program does not allow the user to create or delete records..

Field	Type & Length	Description
Code	N2	Appointment Type Code. Update of this field is not allowed
Description	A20	The Description of the Appiontment Type Update of this field is not allowed
Pay by Claim	A1	Indicate whether Personnel Members that is appointed with this Appointment Type is paid by (S)alary or by (C)laims.
Calculation Number	N1	Refer to Fixed Salary Detail {FPRI-1} for information regarding the Calculation Number. When a new personnel record is created, the system will default this value to the individual.
Pay Date Number	N1	Refer to Fixed Salary Detail {FPRI-1} for information about Pay Date. When a new personnel record is created, the system will default this value to the individual
Pay Frequency	A1	Indicate whether Personnel Members that is appointed with this Appointment Type is paid (M)onthly or (W)eekly When a personnel member is appointed, the system will default this value to the individual.
Start Salary Level for Claims	N2	This field and the next field allows the Payroll Administrator to set a Salary Level Range that may be used for Salary Claims {FPRIC-1} against Secondary Appointment Contracts {PAOP-2}.
End Salary Level for Claims	N2
