Post Doctoral/Research Fellows {HEMIS-11}

The program will extract Post Doctoral (STATS Category) staff data from the database for the HEMIS year equal to the STATS year, as set in the STATS Control File {STMNT-1} for sequence 3.

1 If the Post Doctoral time periods falls within an existing Service Record with or without corresponding Start and End dates. Then it is recognised as a Post Doctoral and other appoinmtent.
Then the following process applies to select the correct Post Doc data :
1.1 Create Personnel Indicator for Post Docs with other appointment in {PACS-7}.
1.2 Link Personnel Indicator created in {PACS-7} for Post Doctorals in the Alpha Field in {GCS2-11} for SOD  Code HE for subsystem HR.
1.3 Personnel with Post Docs with other appointments must be linked to the Personnel Indicator on {PBOP-22}, ensuring that Start and End date of Post Doc period are reflected correctly .
The Post of the Post Doctoral appointment must be enterd in Remarks field  in {PBOP-22}.
1.4 {PBOP-2} to reflect correct Stats Category of 'other' appointment i.e  not Post Doc Appointment (Stat Category 10).
1.5 The funding body of the post defined in {PBOP-22} will be used.
2 If the person has separate Service Records and one is a Stats Category 10 that present a post doc and no personnel Indicator as defined in {GCS2-11} for type HE for subsystem HR exists for the person in {PBOP-22}.
Then the following process applies to select Post Doc data:
2.1
 All active Service Records {PBOP-2} in the reporting year linked to STATS Category "10 - Post Doctoral".
2.2
 If a person has more than one Service Record for STATS Record for STATS Category 10 in the reporting year, the latest active Service Record for the reporting year is used.
