Occupation Classification Codes {PACS1-1}

This program is used to maintain a classification for the various occupations within the institution. The classification entered here is used as "Occupational Category" by the following programs:

Posts {PACS-4}.
Personnel Service Records {PBOP-2}.
Equal Opportunity {PEOP-8}.
Target Equity Figures {PSDMT-1}.
Workplace Skills Plan {PSDOP-15}.
Various Reports as referred to in the on-line help of the above programs.

Fields in this option:

Panel Box 1: Occupation Classification Codes.

Field	Type & Length	Description
Code	N3.3	A unique code for the occupation. These codes are populated from {POFO-1}. This is the Occupational Category Code.
Description	A30	The description of the occupation.
Level 2 Summary	A30	These three fields allows the system administrator to set up the code structure in such a way that the (detail) Occupation Classification Codes are entered here may be summarised for reporting purposes. The Equity Statistics Report {PAOPR3-4} has a User Selection Parameter that allows the user to select the level at which the data will be reported.

Level 4 Summary	A30
