Remuneration Rates {PACS2-7}


This program may be used by the system administrator to define a fixed set of rates for each Person Type, Rank, Remuneration Type and Remuneration Unit combination.


Only Remuneration Types where rates are applicable (I.e. "Fixed Monthly" or "Rate x Quantity") is used here.


The person type and rank code combination should exist on {PACS2-3}.

The remuneration types should exist on {PACS2-4} .

The Remuneration Unit should exist on {PACS2-6}.


Any combination used here will only be valid if the a record for the Person Type / Rank / Remuneration Type exists in Valid Appointment Types {PACS2-3}

Person Type Code  A2 As in Person Types {PACS2-1}.
Rank Code  N5 As in Ranks {PACS-2}.
Remuneration Type   A2 Only Remuneration Types {PACS2-4} "M - Fixed Monthly Amount" or "R - Rate x Quantity" may be used
Remuneration Unit  A2 The Remuneration Unit {PACS2-6} to which the Rate apply.
Rate (Amount)  N17.2 The rate that will be used for the specific combination of all the above mentioned fields.
  • If Remuneration type is (U or O) then Amount must be 0.
Earning Code  A4 The Earnings Code {FPRG-6} that will be used when the Secondary Appointment Contract {PAOP-2} is created.
