This option will allow the system administrator to indicate the Appointment Types {PACS-1} applicable to the Person Type {PACS2-1} / Employment Period {PACS2-2} combination and to indicate the Rank {PACS-2}, Leave Package {PLCS-1}, Grade and Stats Category that will be used for iEnabler Appointments for each Person Type / Employment Period / Appointment Type combination. Refer to the Overview of the iEnabler Appointments for more information.
The following code structures should be populated before a record can be created in this option.

Person Type Code | A2 | The person type define what type of person may be appointed. The type of person refers to the type of work that a person will do for example invidulatos, Examiners, casuals etc. The person type is defined in menu option {PACS2-1}. |
Period of Employment Code | A3 | This code represents a specific period of
emplyment which is displayed in months. The Employment
periods are set up in menu option{PACS2-2},
if a person is employed via the iEnabler appointment system an
employment period must exists that covers the period of
employment. For new records, Employment Periods with Inactive Date before the System Date will not be allowed |
Appointment Type | N4 | The Appointment Types {PACS-1} that may be used for the Person Type / Period of Emplyment combination. Only "Paid by Claim-" Appointment Types where the Inactive Date is not entered or after the System Date may be entered. |
Rank Code | N5 | The Rank Code {PACS-2} to be used when a person with this Person Type/Period of Employment and Appointment Type is appointed. Only Active Ranks may be entered. |
Grade | A2 | The grade refers to the grade of the post which can be used for accessments in the HR environment. The grade could also be an indication of what remuneration should be linked to the post. |
Leave Package | A2 | The Leave Package to be used {PLCS-3} when a person with this Person Type/Period of Employment and Appointment Type is appointed. Only Active Leave Packages may be entered. |
Fixed Tax Rate | A1 | The fixed tax rate indicator is used to display on the IRP5 document how tax was calculated. |
Stats Category | N2 | The Stats Category to be used in the Service Record {PBOP-2} when a person with this Person Type/Period of Employment and Appointment Type is appointed. |
Service Record Ind Code | A2 | This indicates the Service Record Indicator Code to be entered. |
Validate Equal pay for Equal Work | A1 | This indicates whether the hourly rate paid to the person must be compared to the defined hourly rate of pay. |
Validate Appointments Greater than 3 months | A1 | This indicates whether appointments greater than 3 months should be Validated and the user forced to enter a valid Reason Code. |
Compare Min Pay | A1 | This indicates how the hourly rate pay of the person being appointed, should be compared to the defined hourly rate of the Rank. |
