Qualification Cancellation {s00009-10}

This option will enable students to cancel a qualification via the iEnabler but will not be allowed to uncancel the qualification. All subjects will be cancelled.

Processing Rules:

To cancel a qualification 'tick' the qualification in the' Cancel' field and select a 'Reason' for cancellation.
Cancellation Date must fall within the 'D - Web Cancellations' system cycle as setup in {SMNT-2}, Tab: System Control Cycle - Enrolments.
If a qualification is not available for cancellation, the student will not be able to 'tick' the qualification as it will be flagged with a 'red dot' in the 'Cancel' field. See the 'Example' below.
When a qualification(s) has been selected for cancellation and the student tick on 'Save Qualification Cancellations' the qualification(s) will be removed from the 'Qualification Cancellation' page.
The 'Cancellation Date' and 'Cancellation Reason' can be viewd in {SREGC-3}.
The exiting status is updated to 'G - Good Standing'.
The student account will be corrected as per the cancellation credit rules that are defined in the Student Debtors System.
A record will be created in the log file and can be printed in {SMNTL-1}

The same cancellation rules will apply as for cancellation of qualification(s) in the backoffice.

Qualification	A6	Registered 'Qualification Codes' will be populated from the students qualification registration {SREGAR-1}.
Description	A40	The 'Description' of the registered qualification(s) will be populated from the Academic Structure {SACADO-1}
Reason		A LOV's will display all the 'Cancellation Reasons' that is available from {SCODE-25}. This is a mandatory field.
Registration Date	DD-MON-YYYY	The 'Registration Date' will be populated with the system date.
QualNo	N2	The 'Qualification Number' will be populated from the students qualification registration in {SREGAR-1}.
Primary	A1	The 'Primary' indicator will be populated from the students qualification registration in {SREGAR-1}.
Academic Period	A1	The 'Academic Period' (block) will be populated from the students qualification registration in {SREGAR-1}.
Mode of Study	A2	The 'Mode of Study' (Offering Type) will be populated from the students qualification registration in {SREGAR-1}.
