Maintain Exam Types and Blocks {SCODE2-4}

In this option the possible combinations of Examination Type, block and examination month are entered. An academic block may extend over a period of longer than one academic year. Therefore the fields exam year and month have been added to indicate when this block is applicable.

Field	Type & Length	Description
Exam Type	A1	Enter the Examination Type as created in {SCODE2-2}. The description is displayed. The <LIST> function will display all valid codes.
Block	A2	Enter the Block Code as created in option {SCODE2-1}. The description is displayed. The <LIST> function will display all valid codes.
Sequence	N2	More than one exam year and month may be applicable to one block. The smallest sequence for the same year and block is the month the student will be registered for. This is only valid with the registration programs at {SREGAR-11}.
Exam Year	N4	The Examination Year, Different Years can be linked to the same block.
Month	N2	Enter the Examination Month as created in {SCODE2-3}. The <LIST> function will display all valid codes.

For example: For the normal examination in respect of Semester 1 subjects, the values will be:

Examination type:	N Normal
Block:	1 (Semester 1)
Sequence:	1
Year:	2000
Exam month:	6 (June)

Processing Rules
	When the examination type has been defined as "Attendance Only", this option will not allow the user to link an examination month to the examination type / block combination, since no examination is valid.
