Academic Applications {SCOM2-1}

This option allows documents, etc., to be produced for students on the basis of applications as maintained under the options for academic applications, {SNAPPA-1 / SNAPPA-3}. 

The option could result in a student being selected more than once, depending on the selection criteria entered.  Should a student be selected only once, then option {SCOM2-4} should rather be used.

All documents (letter, list, label, logfile) must be defined on {GMNT-14}

    Calendar Year YYYY The year for which the application was made.
   Block Code A2 The academic block of the application.  The allowed values can be viewed by using the <LIST> command.
   Campus Code or [ALL] A2 The campus code of the application.  The allowed values can be viewed by using the <LIST> command.
   Faculty Code or [ALL] N4 The faculty / school of the application. The allowed values can be viewed by using the <LIST> command. 
   Qualification Code or [ALL]
A1 The qualification for which the student applied. The allowed values can be viewed by using the <LIST> command.

Qualification Student Type or [ALL] A2 The Student Type on the students qualification.

Subject Offering Type or [ALL] A2 The subject offering type of the application. The allowed values can be viewed by using the <LIST> command.

Study Period or [ALL] A1 The period of study of the application. The allowed values can be viewed by using the <LIST> command.
  Subject Student Type or [ALL] A2 The Subject Student Type of the Student {SNAPPA-3}.  The allowed values can be viewed by using the <LIST> command.

Admittance: (Y)es / (N)o or [B]oth A1 The allowed values are (Y)es / (N)o / (B)oth.  The admittance status of the application. The admission status is linked to the admittance status in option {SCODE-26}.

Admission Status or [ALL] (Blank for no Status) A2 The status of the application.  If left blank, applications without any status will be selected. The allowed values can be viewed by using the <LIST> command.

Print all Choices ((Y)es / (N)o ) A1 A (Y)es will print multiple records for all tags with a _R.

Include Already Admitted Students ((Y)es / (N)o) A1 An applicant can have more than one application record.  If the applicant has already been admitted to one of these, but not admitted to another, requirement might be desirable to suppress the printing of letters to the applicant, for the qualification to which the applicant was not selected.  A (N)o will not select an applicant for any application choice, if there is already a (Y)es status in respect of another application choice.

Select [B]ulk or Individual Students. A1 Enter (I)ndividual student numbers on the next block.

Sort Order Per Comments
   Postal Code and / or Faculty, Qualification and then the order selected in the program, (Alphabetical, Numerical) or (Numerical). Note: The list always works best if not sorted per Postal Code.

System Select  
  Academic structure year is equal to the academic application year.

Academic application cancel date is blank.

Academic application year is equal to the input year.

Biographical cancel date is blank.

Date deceased on biographical is blank.

Fields that will print on the List:

Student Number, Name, Qualification Code and Description, Offering Type, Study Period, Status Code and Description.

This tag is used to calculation the year inwhich the student should complete studies. It is calculated as follows:
Application Year +(Duration of Qualification  - 1 year)
e.g. Application year 2015
Duration = 3
Student could finish in 2017
If the Total Minimum Time is set as 3.5, the value will be printed as 2017.5
