National Benchmark Test (M)atch, (U)pload, (D)ownload en (P)rint Report
This program may be used to (M)atch the students
on {SNAPPA-3} Academic Applications and then insert a record on
{SNAPNBT-2}
or it may be used to (D)ownload the matched students to
send back to NBT for them to load test results, or (U)pload the test
results for an external *csv file. The (D)ownload file may also
be extracted into an Excel file by selecting the stylesheet TXT2XLS.
The File path and directory must be set up on {SNAPNBT-6} as follows:
- Extract/Download option, system 'STUD' and function 'NBTEX'.
- Import/Upload option, system 'STUD' and function 'NBTUP'.
- Match Students option, system 'STUD' and function 'NBTMA'.
The Restriction type(access type) 'NBTR' must be defined for each user.
If the user is not linked to the Faculty or
Department and Qualification
that the student is linked to in {SNAPPA-1/3} for the restriction
‘NBTR’, he/she may not use this option. The Qualification may be
null. If access is not allowed, an error message will be displayed.
Set up the SOD NB/RE on {SMNT-12} to define the exclusion status code to
be linked to the student. If the test is defined as mandatory on
{SNAPNBT-1} Tab Qualification Mandatory, and the program is
run
for the (M)atching option, a Exclusion Status Code will be inserted
into {SREGL-2}. The specific code used will be determined by the SOD
'NB' for subsystem 'RE' on {SMNT-12}.
When all mandatory test results
are loaded the end date of the exclusion status will be updated with System Date when (U)pload is run.

On (M)atch: Program will insert all records for which a match on
the Academic Application {SNAPPA-3} is found and for which the user has
access on {SMNT-5} access type 'NBTR' into {SNAPNBT-2}.
On (D)ownload: Program will download from {SNAPNBT-2} all records
for which the user has access on {SMNT-5} access type 'NBTR'.
On (U)pload: Program will update the results on {SNAPNBT-2} all records
for which the user has access on {SMNT-5} access type 'NBTR'.
On (P)rint: A record will be printed for each student for which a record is
found for which the user has access on {SMNT-5} access type
'NBTR'. The detail of Academic Applications for the same year will also
be displayed.
