Maintain Enquiry Detail - Items id7app called from {SDENQ-2}


This option enables the user to maintain items that an enquirer requested. 



The items must be defined {SDGUIM-1}.

Fields in the option:

Block 1:  Enquirer Detail

The user defines for which year the information must be created, the  enquiry type, delivery method and indicate if the information is sent by post or corrected in person.

Enquirer Type  A1 If the record was inserted on {SDENQ-2} it will default to 'S' and fir it was entered via {SENQUR-3} it defaults to 'E'.
Enquirer Number  N9 The Enquirer/Student number is populated from the option from which this application was called {SDENQ-2}
Title, Initials and Surname  A100 The Enquirer/Student title, initials and surname is displayed.
Enquiry Ref  N10 The reference number for the enquiry incident. This is automatically generated by the system.
Year  YYYY The year for which the enquiry was made.
Date  DD-MON-YYYY The date on which the enquiry was made.
Enquiry Type  A4 The equirer type must be defined.This is used to indicate the method the enquiry was received e.g. email, fax. The LOV will display the valid codes as defined on {SCODE3-27}.
Delivery Type A4 The delivery method that will be used to deliver the items requested by the enquirer The value entered must be defined on {SCODE3-26}.
Personal/Postal  A1 If P(E)resonal is selected items requested will be issued Immediately, else for s(O)stal, items will be issued with the bulk issue option {FPMO4-25}.
Remarks  A2500 Any remark that to be linked to this enquiry
Agent Code N9 The agent to which the enquiry must be linked.
User A8  The user that created the record
Copy Record  Button If Copy Button is selected then the enquiry reference record will be duplicated with a new reference number.

Block 2:  Enquiry Detail

The user defines the request detail and generates a request.

Enquirer Reference  N9 The reference number for the enquiry incident. This is automatically generated by the system.
Record Number  N5 The individual enquiry record number of the enquiry reference.
Level A1 Enter the level code for which brochure items must be requested 
Generic Group  A3 Enter the generic group code for which brochure items must be requested.
Qualification A6 Enter qualification code for which brochure items must be requested.
Number of Sets N8 The user defined number of sets (enquiry items) required.
Personal/Postal  A1 If P(E)resonal is selected items requested will be issued Immediately, else for s(O)stal, items will be issued with the bulk issue option {FPMO4-25}.
Generate Request   Button If the Generate Request  Button is selected then a request will be generated for the enquiry record.

Block 3:  Enquiry Item Detail

To display the active records for the enquiry reference number.

Record Number  N5 The individual enquiry record number of the enquiry reference.
Item Request Tick box The field must be selected to enable the item to be requested for the enquirer.
Quantity N8 The quantity requested for a single set.
In Stock  Tick box To indicate if there is stock for the item.
Item  N8 The enquiry brochure item to be requested. The description will also be displayed.
Request Quantity N8 The quantity requested for a single set.
Doc Type  A2 The document type.
Doc Number   A10 The number of the request/issue.
Line Number N4 The line number  of the item on the document.

Block 4:  Enquiry Not Offered

 To display the enquiry items not offered.

Not Offered  A3 The code of the required Information not offered by the Institution.
Description A30 The description of the code of the required information not offered by the Institution.

Processing
Rules		  
  Users linked to the Restriction Code 'DEST' on {SMNT-5b2} will be allowed to create records on block 1 and 2. All other users may only to query only.
