This program may be used to add or edit notes.

Description |

| Note Code | A8 | Note Codes linked to the Form and Block {GCS2-14} from which the program was called may be used. |
| Note Type Code | A8 | Enter the Note Type {GCS2-10} , will default to the value entered on {GCS2-15} |
| Note Number | The number is automatically assigned by the system, will default to the value entered on {GCS2-15} | |
| Communication Method | A4 | Enter the Communication Method code or use the LOV to retrieve the applicable code. |
| Reference Note | N11 | If this note refers to another note, the Note Number of the note referred to may be entered here. |
| Direction | A1 | The direction of the communication (In/Out) |
| Number | The field will change accordingly to the system parameter, e.g. Student Number, Asset Number etc. | |
| Add Reminder | Button | After commitment of the note you can enter a reminder. Click on the button and Note Reminders Screen will open. |
| Action Date and Time | DD-MON-YYYY HH:MI | |
| Note | A2500 | This field may be used to enter the content of the note. |
| Created by | A8 | The user who entered the note. |
| Date | DD-MON-YYYY | The date the note was entered. |
| Note Status | A1 | To indicate if the note is still applicable. Values to be used C- Cancel, W-Withdraw, O-Other or Null |
| Cancel User | A8 | The user who cancelled the note (For cancelled notes) |
| Cancel Date | DD-MON-YYYY | The date on which the note was cancelled. (For cancelled notes) |
| 3rd Party | A30 | The name of the 3rd party involved in the note |
| Amendment | A2500 | An amendment to the orginal note. |
| Amended by | A8 | The user that made the amendment. |
| Date Amended | DD-MON-YYYY | The date the amendment was made. |
