Secondary Exam Marks Entry (Numeric) {SSTUD2-4}

The secondary entry of Examination Paper Marks is governed by System Cycle “E” (option {SSTUDY-1}) and linked to particular exam years and examination months and exam types.  Marks may be entered only when the system date is between the dates defined in this option. Only students that did not cancel as well as with exam admission ‘Y’ will be displayed

This option assists in verifying the examination marks as entered via option {SSTUD2-3}.  Report {SSTUD2-24} will indicate any discrepancies.

If the on-line validation “VC” is set to (Y)es in option {SMNT-1}, TAB - Validation Control, the system will not allow the user to continue unless the difference in the marks entered in the primary and secondary options has been rectified. If the validation is set to (N)o, there will be warnings when differing marks are entered and these can be seen when the validation report is run.
