Compute Overall Mark {SSTUD4-7}

Using this option can do the calculation of the overall mark and result. The rules recorded in option {SSTUD3-3} Tab Criteria per Period of Study, are used in this program.

	The following calculation rules apply: all the subjects registered for the qualification (excluding additional subjects and cancellations) are used in the calculation of the overall mark, the final mark of the subject is multiplied by the subject weight specified in {SSTUD3-3} Tab Curriculum, the overall mark equal the weighted final marks of the subjects divided by the total weights of the subjects, if the automatic calculation field in {SSTUD3-3} Tab Qualification Study Period is set to (Y)es, the previous study period’s overall mark is taken into account for the calculation of this study period’s overall mark, and the Result Code is determined by the criteria recorded in option {SSTUDE-6}. Note: Rules for Qualification credit point: Credit is null if subjects are canceled or the subject has a result that leads to ‘F’. If one of the above is used in conjunction with a Weight Value on {SSTUD3-3} Tab Curriculum, each subject final mark will be multiplied by the weight value to compute the Overall Mark. All the credit points for the subjects will be added together and displayed on {SSTUDY-21}. Overall Mark

Get “Result for Fail Compulsory Assessment” from {SSTUD3-1} Tab Default Examination Admission and Final Result Criteria, where the Final Mark of the subject multiplied by the Weight on the curriculum is between the Low and High limit on {SSTUDE-4} and the result is leading to an ‘F’.
