STS Risk Codes {SSTUDTC-3}


This option is used to define the Student Tracking System Risk Codes to be used in the tracking process. These codes cannot be deleted when linked to the student on {SSTUDTO-2} or on the Lecturer iEnabler {PL0001-14}.



The import and export functionality has been added to this application.


Fields in this option:

Block 1:  STS Risk Codes

Field Type

Length		 Description
Risk Code A4 Define an unique Code indicating the type of risk
  • The list of value displays all the Risk Codes captured on {SSTUDTC-3}.
Description A60 Link the STS Risk Code Description
Type A1 Type of Risk to be linked to the Risk Code. Only the following values will be allowed:
  • (A)cademic
  • (F)inancial
  • (S)ocio
Risk Level Indicator A1 If the value on the field 'Type' is:
  • (A)cademic: Only the following values will be allowed:
    1. (Q)ualification
    2. (S)ubject
    3. (A)ssessment
  • (F)inancial: Only the following values will be allowed:
    1. (F)inance
  • (S)ocio: Only the following values will be allowed:
    1. (M)school
    2. (L)ecturer
Active to N4 The Year up to which the Risk Code is Active. 
  • If this field is left NULL then the Risk Code is active till infinite. If the year is entered the risk will be active up to and including the year defined.
Include Bursary Student A1 A (Y)es or (N)o indicator will determine whether for this particular risk, a student who has received a bursary should be taken into account when an evaluation run is done.
  • This field defaults to a (N)o.

Processing
Rules		  
  If the Risk Code is linked to the student, it cannot be deleted/updated.



There is no separate reporting option available for this option. The user may use the export functionality to generate a list of role codes or the user may right click anywhere on the form and the pop up below will appear to generate the list.
