Study Guide Issue Label {FPMOR4-31}


This report print/reprint the student and address of a single issue voucher in ASCII format.


The Print Issue Label button of option {SDGUIS-2} use this option to process and sent the information to a printer label.

The Postal Code will not be printed if the print indicator in {GCS2-2} is set to no.

The following must be in place to use this option in the background and front end:

The output of examples 1 and 2 must further be processed to produce the desired label.  This is done by creating a printer on option {GPRT-1} block 1. Then the printer instructions in block 2 will transform the output before it is send to the label printer.

The same printer instructions used to print the output of {FPMOR4-12} can be used to process example 2. Example 3 will work with a printer that understands the ZPL printer language.


For background printing using {SDGUIS-2} :
        A style sheet must be linked on {FCSM-1} to system operational parameter {TP}.  Three standard style sheets are provided, see examples below.

If function ISSL is not setup the output will be sent to the Issue Voucher Store default printer.

Optional Parameters: this function {GCS2-11} does not used this value
Printer Code: The default label printer as defined in {GPRT-1}, as discussed above.
For each user that do not use the above printer and have their own label printer, setup the following record:
User Code must be the user name
Optional Parameters: this function does not use this value
Printer Code: The user label printer as defined in {GPRT-1}, as discussed above.

On selection of the option, the system will prompt the user with a print menu and thereafter the following:

Processing
Rules
 
  The address printed on the label will be determined as follows. If the student is linked to a provider then the provider address will be printed on the label, if not then the student supervisor address will be printed. If the student is linked to a Sub Division/Unit, Address Line 1 will print:  c/o The Principal, the Unit Contact and address, as copied to the student's address information.  If the student is not linked to a supervisor then the student's primary postal address will be printed.

The contact person printed on the label will be as follows.

Provider - Contact type linked to system operational parameter {PC} on {GCS2-11}
Supervisor - Contact type linked to system operational parameter {SC} on {GCS2-11}
Sub Division/Unit - Contact type linked to system operational parameter {UC} on {GCS2-11}
Student - Student title, initials and surname.

The address for provider and supervisor is determined by system operational parameter {AC} on {GCS2-11}
