Operational Manual for Annual Result Calculation (ARC)

The Annual Result Calculation is performed when Student subjects results are available and is used to calculate the Annual Result which determine if a student may be promoted to the next study period.


This process can be executed on its own, or as part of Auto promotion


To enable the a student to register using the online registration program, a students need a qualification application. 

To determine the study level (study period/semester) of the application to be created, the annual result of a student is used.

Annual Result Calculation rule/criteria {SSTUD4-30}

When setting up rules, faculty personnel need to:

Alternative Compute Annual Results {SSTUD4-31}

This option is used Calculate Annual Results to determine if a student can progress to the next study period or stay in the same study period during the next registration period.


Display Annual Result Calculation Results {SSTUDP-9}

The outcome of the Annual Result Calculation for each student evaluated, is displayed in this option.
