Overview of Performance Management {P00003-9}


The performance management system is a facility for staff members to submit and line managers to review Performance Agreements and Performance Assessments on the iEnabler.

Performance Management Agreement {PPMC-1}

Performance agreement/plan are defined at the beginning of the year for the defined Performance Management year.
Staff member and manager can define the performance agreement using previous years agreement, and if non-exists, then it will be copied from the staff members Job Profile {PPJO-3}.
Performance Agreements are set within the specified start and end dates for the year {PPMC-1}.
Functionality to grant an extension for performance agreement submission {PPMO-1}.

Types of Performance Assessment {PPMC-1}

Mid-Term/Interim Assessment - Occurs six months into the performance Assessment cycle based on the signed performance agreement.
Mock Assessments – Can Occur every month or as when the manager need it to occur into the performance Assessment cycle based on the signed performance agreement.
Final Assessment - Occurs at the end of the performance Assessment cycle based on the signed performance agreement.

Staff Member Functionality  {PPMO-2}

Functionality for staff member to be able to setup their Performance Agreement by specifying their KPAs, Key Activities and KPIs and submit it for approval to their line manager.
Functionality for staff member to define performance gaps against their Personal Development Plan(PDP) .
Functionality for staff member to submit dispute for Performance Agreement/assessments  rejected by the line manager.
Functional for staff member to submit mid term, mock and final assessment.

Line Manager Functionality {PPMO-3}

Functionality for line manager to approve/reject staff member Performance Agreement.
Functionality for line manager to approve/reject mid term, mock and final assessment.
Functionality for line manager approve dispute for Performance Agreement, mid term, mock and final assessment.
 

HR Functionality {PPMO-4}

Functionality for HR staff to Setup Performance Management control/cycle dates, including year and end dates for agreement/plan and interim and final assessment.
Functionality for HR to act on behalf of the employee to capture/submit their Performance Agreement and assessments.
Functionality for HR to be able modify a disputed Agreement on behalf of the employee after a resolution has been reached offline between the employee, manager (and possibly HR).

Functional for HR to act on behalf of the Line Manager to do the approval of the performance management agreement.
