Maintain Score Criteria for Standard Application Form and Calculate Applicants Score (PERS-2}


This Menu Option allows for the Standard Score rating criteria to be defined, using the Standard Application Form fields i.e. Gender, Age, Range, Nationality, Highest Qualification etc., per Advert / per Applicant. 

Once the criteria has been defined, the Applicant’s scores may be calculated by clicking on the ‘Calculate Applicant’s Scores’ Button.  This may be done in Trial or Update Mode.  When run in Update Mode, these scores are updated in {PERS-4 Applicant’s Scores, Selection ratings & Interview Selection} and the details of the criteria used and scores achieved by the Applicants, can be viewed for each Applicant in {PERA-2 View Applicant Score Results}.  The process can be run multiple times to refine the results.   


Search Panel

Users are able to search on the Advert Code and / or Adverts where the Standard Application Form Scores have / have not been calculated:

  • Y - Yes
  • N - No
  • NULL

Export to Excel functionality is available

The user has the ability to Save, Save As or Download to obtain the information displayed in this menu option when selecting the Export to Excel button. The spreadsheet will display detail relevant to the Advert Code/s.

To access the Maintain/Create records Panel, highlight the Advert Code Row and click on the Maintain/Create Records Button

Maintain Scores Panel

This panel gives the user the facility to set the score criteria, per field.  The fields displayed are those from the eRecruitment Standard Application form.  Additional fields may not be added, those not required may be left as null values.

Three ranges may be defined.
Age - To N3
8 Minimum Expected Earnings N17.2 Three earning ranges may be defined

9 Distance from Institution N7.2 Three KM ranges may be defined
10 Number of Referee Reports Received N1 Three ranges may be defined
Yes/ No Answers are available for items 11 and 12
11 Police Clearance Received - Yes A1

Score fields are individually available for these fields, as determined and scored by the institution.
12 Highest Qualification Verified A1

Score fields are individually available for Highest Qualification required by the institution..

Calculate Applicant’s Scores:

 

When clicking on this Button, the user can calculate the scores achieved by the Applicants for the criteria set above and the answers given by the Applicants when completing the Standard Applicant Form details on eRecruitment {PERS-1}.  The user has the option to calculate the scores in Trial or Update Mode. 

 

When run in Update Mode, these scores are updated in {PERS-4 Applicant’s Scores, Selection Ratings & Interview Selection}.  The details of the criteria used and scores can be viewed for each Applicant in {PERA-2 View Applicant Score Results}.  The process can be run multiple times to refine the results.
