Academic Contact Persons {SACAD-9}


To indicate an academic contact person,
in a specific capacity, for a qualification or subject e.g. Lecturer, Course Leader, Assessor, Examiner, Moderator, etc.

The detail on this option will be copied with the academic structure copy program on {SACAD-3} and deleted with the academic structure delete program on {SACAD-2}.

Academic Contact Types are set up on {SCODE3-24}.

The academic contact person detail can be printed on the correspondence option {SLLL3-2},
using D13-parameter, or {SCOM3-2} using the tag <QualSubjContact_R>, if the D-parameter or tag was specified and the detail for the year entered exists.

Subject / Qualification Indicator. A1 Enter (S)ubject / (Q)ualification indicator.
Subject / Qualification Code. A7 or A6 Subject Code or Qualification Code.
Academic Contact Code. A8 Academic Contact Code, as set up on {SCODE3-24}.
Personnel Number. N9 Personnel Number.  On commit, check if Learnership Industry code linked to subject on {SACADO-10} Tab Subjects is not null, then person must have a record on {PSDOP-1}, where the Indicator is the same as the contact type on {SCODE3-24}

Panel Box 2:  Academic Contact Persons per Offering Type.

This is used in determining the responsible person in the Appeals System. Appeals will originate for the Student iEnabler. A student will submit a request for an appeal via the iEnabler and a Service Request will be generated on {SSTUDS-3}. At the same time the responsible lecturer will be notified via the Routing system of this request.  This option can be called from {SACADO-2} - Qualification Offering type or {SACADO-11} - Subject Offering Type.
