Extract Student Enrolment Details  {SEDLES-3} 

Once the students for an Examination cycle are registered, this option is used to extract Enrolment Details to be sent to the Department of Education as part of the Electronic Data Link to the Examination System (EDLES)

• Output files are written to the directory specified in {BATCH-7}. System = ‘STUD’ and Function = ‘EDL’.
• The file names should be in the format CCCCXSYE.TXT, e.g. 5827T15E.TXT  will be the file name for Technical studies exam written in Term 1 of 2015  where
  • CCCC = Last four characters of the Centre Number
  • X  = Data Set Indicator as supplied on prompt , i.e. T for Technical Studies
  • S = Semester/Term, i.e. 1 for Semester 1
  • Y = Last digit of the Examination Year
• The following information is dependent on the mappings entered on {GOPS-21} EXA EDLES:Education Dept Data link
• EXA/DSI - The {SCODE3-1} Qualification types that must be extracted for each Data set 
• EXA/TED - The Exam months that must be extracted for each Data set and Semester/Term indicator are linked.  Exam months not linked here are not reported.  
• EXA/STI - Academic bloks are linked to the appropriate Semester/Term indicator.   
• EXA/ATT - convert Offering Type to Attendance Indicator as required by the Department. 
• EXA/CEN - convert Campus to Examination Centre as required by the Department.
