Compute Annual Results {SSTUD4-8}

This option will calculate the Annual Result with either Annual Result Criteria, Stats Credits, National Credits or Internal Credits.

This program should not be used if option {SSTUD4-7} Compute Overall Mark and Result was used.

The calculated results can also be viewed and updated under option {SSTUD7-2} Student Annual Results. While it is possible to programmatically update the annual result of a final year student under option {SSTUD4-8}, the granting of the qualification and Qualification Result Qualification Results is done manually on {SSTUD7-12}.

Choice for the program to work on:	Annual Result Criteria: the data that is recorded under option {SSTUDD-2} Criteria per Study Period, is used to determine the annual result of students and to update their records accordingly. If the student passes all rules specified (not blank), then the result will be set to the Result Code if Promoted else the result will be set to the Result Code if not Promoted. Subjects failed at previous attempts, and later passed, will be counted only as a pass. Number of Subjects to Pass The number of subjects, in this period of study, that must have been passed, in the current year or before, for a student to pass this period of study. Percentage of Subjects to Pass Alternative to above, and only one of these two fields can be used. In this case the student must have passed this percentage of all the subjects that he was enrolled for in this period of study. Number of Major Subjects to Pass Normally only used in respect of the last period of study of a qualification. To pass this period of study, this number of major subjects, in respect of the current qualification, must have been passed at some stage in the career of the student. Maximum Number of Subjects Repeated The maximum number of failed subjects, in respect of this period of study that would be allowed. If the student failed a larger number he would fail this period of study. Result Code if Promoted The Result Code used if Promoted on Annual Result. Result Code if Not Promoted The Result Code used if Not Promoted on Annual Result. STATS credits: The total credit that is recorded under option {SACADO-17} for subjects passed will be added together and tested against Low and High credit limit on {SSTUDD-3} Student Promotion where Credit to use is Stats Credit. National credits: The total National credits that is recorded under option {SACADO-10} for subjects passed will be added together and tested against Low and High credit limit on {SSTUDD-3} Student Promotion where Credit to use is National Credit. Internal credits: The total Internal credit that is recorded under option {SACADO-10} for subjects passed will be added together and tested against Low and High credit limit on {SSTUDD-3} Student Promotion where Credit to use is Internal Credit.
