Classification of Awards per Qualification Type {SSTUDE-7}


This menu option is used to define the Class (Result Code) for a range of CGPA per Qualification Type. Currently used by Uganda clients only.


Fields:

Field Type

Length		 Description
Academic Year YYYY The Academic Year to which the criteria applies. This field is mandatory when searching.
Qualification Type A6 The Qualification Type to which classification will be applied.
CGPA Low Limit N3.3 The Lowest CGPA from which the class is valid.
CGPA High Limit N3.3 The Highest CGPA to which the class is valid.
Annual /Award A1 Specify if criteria applies to (A)nnual result calculation or A(W)ard result calculation
  • If Annual, the Class indicates the result code that will be inserted when using {SSTUD4-8} Compute Annual to determine {SSTUD7-2} Annual Results.
  • If Award, the Class indicates the result code that will be inserted  when using {SSTUD7-3} Create Qualification results to determine {SSTUD7-12} Qualification results.
The result for both options can be based on Annual Mark or Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA)
Class A2 A valid Result Code, as specified on {SCODE-23}. The corresponding description will be displayed.
  • For Annual result, only result codes where the field {SCODE-23} 'Use 'Qual Awarded' is 'No' or NULL will be valid.
  • For Award result, only result codes where the field {SCODE-23} 'Use 'Qual Awarded' is 'Yes' will be valid.
