Process Event Code Structure {STWEBM-7}

This option is used to define institution specific parameters for a specific business process accessed via the iEnabler or an option executed via the back office, e.g.  to indicate certificate codes to be inserted in the back office system when the iEnabler user accesses a business process or to specify the number of unsuccessful login attempts.

Code A2  The Code to be used on the iEnabler. These are system created.
Code Description A80 Description of code.
English Code / Alternate Code A10 The English Code and Alternate Code can be from different code structures. Letter codes can be entered in the English Code field or the Alternate Code field.
The iEnabler user will be able to view the content of the letter on the iEnabler when the business process is accessed.
If an institution prefers detail to be displayed according to the preferred language of the student, the Alternate Code must be entered. These Process Event Codes are listed under the heading 'Letters' below.
Some Process Event Codes are used to link certificate codes or indicators to students and those must be entered in the English Code field. These codes are listed under the heading 'Indicators' below.
Other Process Event Codes control the display options and specific default values. These Process Event Codes are listed under 'Miscellaneous Events' below.

Letters:


The letters displayed on the Web will depend on the student's preferred language. If the preferred language is not English but an Alternate letter code was not defined, the English letter will be displayed.

The following event codes are used to link certificate- or indicator codes from {SCODE-22} to students. These indicator codes must be entered in the English Code column.

G2 Request for Information Certificate Indicator  (link this to Certificate indicator SCODE-22).

Miscellaneous Events:

Code   Description
A8 WR Status End Date. To indicate the end date to be linked to the student record on {STWEBM-9} when {STWEBM-3} is run to link statuses to students for iEnabler registrations.
AA Account Address Type. To indicate the address type to be used for the account address on the Student iEnabler.
AB Proof of Application Document Code. To indicate the ‘Proof of Application’ based on a document code defined for the Quote on the Student iEnabler. 
AT

Default Application Type on iEnabler Application.

An application type is linked to this event and used  during the Student iEnabler applications, to default the application type on the application. If this application type is restricted on {SCAO1-25} to a number of applications for the application type, the applicant will be notified on the iEnabler that the number of applications allowed has been exceeded once the applicant reaches the maximum number of applications.

CD Which credit must be displayed (I)nternal, (N)ational of (S)tats. To indicate which credit must be displayed next to each subject on the Student iEnabler Application and Registration.
CG Used in iEnabler during Registration to allow the client to choose a Default Class Group to make use of when the Maximum levels of all Class Groups have been reached, or when space is still available but it clashes with another subject on the Lecturing TimeTable.
This will allow the student to register "with errors" instead of blocking the registration. The Class Group then has to be corrected in the administration office.
EPMandatory E-Payment information page.
ET Expiry Time.
English Code - Indicate the time unit (minutes) when a session will expire with no activity on the iEnabler and Wizard.
                      Expiry time should not exceed 90 minutes.
                      More than 90 min will negatively influence the performance on the system.
Alternative Code - Indicate the number of applicants allowed on Wizard Biographical Next of Kin page.
                          Should be left null, unless the Institution want to limit number of applicants on Wizard Biography Next of Kin page.
                          Fill in the number the system can handle, a value between 200 and 300 should manage the load in very busy times.
                          If the value is null,  the limit will be 999.
                         Note :
This is limit for Biographical Next of Kin page only, not the whole Wizard.
EV Exam Marks View Number. To define the columns to be displayed when viewing the exam marks on Lecturer iEnabler .
Values can be 1, 2 or 3.If 1, the examination paper mark and the full period mark field is displayed. If 2, the examination paper mark, full period mark and examination mark is displayed. If 3, the exam mark, final mark, result code and description and pass/fail indicator are displayed.
  K1 Next of kin Name Address Type. To indicate the next of kin contact type to be used on the Online Application Wizard.
  K2 Next of kin Postal Address Type. To indicate the next of kin postal address type to be used on the Online Application Wizard.
  K3 Next of kin Cellphone Address Type. To indicate the next of kin cellphone address type to be used on the Online Application Wizard.
  K4 Next of kin Home phone Address Type. To indicate the next of kin home phone address type to be used on the Online Application Wizard.
  K5 Next of kin Work phone Address Type. To indicate the next of kin work phone address type to be used on the Online Application Wizard.
  K6 Next of kin Email Address Type. To indicate the next of kin email address type to be used on the Online Application Wizard.
  K7 Account Contact Cellphone Address Type. To indicate the account contact cellphone address type to be used on the Online Application Wizard.
  K8 Account Contact Telephone Address Type - for landlines. To indicate the account contact telephone address type to be used on the Online Application Wizard.
  K9 Account Contact Email Address Type.  To indicate the account contact email address type to be used on the Online Application Wizard.

LA Number of unsuccessful login attempts.  Both English and Alternate codes must be entered, with the number of times the student can unsuccessfully try to login.  Once this number has been exceeded, the student’s login will be “locked”.
MAThe age limit to determine if a student is underage during Application and Registration
NL Number of Lines for Multi-row Update Forms . To indicate the number of rows to be displayed on a multi row form on the Student iEnabler, e.g. matric subjects.
   PQ Show only primary qualification results.
   RA Number of Residence Applications Allowed - per Applicant.
   RB Number of Residence Applications allowed for Seniors - per Applicant.
R0 Default Student iEnabler Exam Type. To indicate the exam type to default on planned subject and subject registration on the iEnabler.
RC Register All Compulsory Subjects. To indicate if the compulsory subjects must be automatically selected on the iEnabler subject registration .  Event RC can only have values Y (Yes) / N (No) / (P) Include previous study periods.
If RC = Y -iEnabler registration will force students to register for compulsory subjects of current study period. The subjects will be auto selected and the field will be disabled to prevent a student from deselecting the subject.
If RC = P -iEnabler registration will only force students to register for compulsory subjects of current study period if there are no outstanding compulsory subjects from previous study periods. The registration will auto select the compulsory subjects of current and previous study periods but will only allow students to deselect the current study period subjects. The compulsory subjects of previous study periods will be disabled, and the student must register for those subjects.
If RC = N - iEnabler registration program will NOT auto select any subjects to be registered.
RD Allow registration if pre-requisite problems exist for compulsory subjects and RC = Y.
If RC = Y and RD = Y, students will be allowed to register for the qualification and other subjects on the iEnabler, even if the pre-requisite for a compulsory subject has failed.
If RC = Y and RD = N, students will NOT even be allowed to register for the qualification if the pre-requisite of one compulsory subject has been failed.
  RF Refund Application Term and Conditions Cert Indicator
WR Web Residence Room Type Default. To indicate the default number of rooms that will show in the residence application on Student iEnabler. If there is no value defined the default room will be a single room.
WS Minimum School Leaving Subjects for Application.  To indicate the minimum school leaving subjects necessary for academic application on the Student iEnabler.

This is used to determine what style sheet to apply on the iEnabler. The OPAC system can be accessed either from within the iEnabler or from outside it through an URL.
When accessed through the iEnabler, use the Alternate Code: if "Yes", a local stylesheet will be applied; if "No", the ITS Style Sheet will be applied.
When accessed through an URL, use the English Code: if "Yes", a local stylesheet will be applied; if "No", the ITS Style Sheet will be applied.
