Generate Bundle Claims {FPRIM-2}


This program will generate Mentor / Tutor Bundle Claims from the Student Distance Education System. Once generated, an Earning may be created in  Copy Bundel Claims to PR {FPRIM-4} once the claim is approved with Maintain Bundle Claims {FPRIM-1} will be an advised amount (Calculation method 3), calculated by a quantity and a rate. Refer to the Overview of Mentor/Tutor Bundle Claims {FPRI-28} for background information on this item.

Processing
Rules		  
1 The program will step through each Task / Exam Responsibility Record in block 6 of the Personnel / Activity Information {SDSERP-1} for Personnel linked to a Service Centre on the system date where the Event Indicator is (S)ubject (not (Q)ualification).
2 For each record in the above list, the program will use the bundles assigned to the person for the same Academic Block or Examination Month, Assignment or Exam Paper Number and Subject for the year as in the user selection.
  • Bundles will only be included where: the Date In of the bundle is after the Date as in user selection, and a claim for the bundle has not been generated in full. (Claims for partial bundles may be generated when the marks of some of the students in the Bundle are outstanding.)
3 If the Assignment and Exam Paper was assigned to more than one personnel member with Maintain Assessment Questions {TASKS1-31}, the program will only generate a claim if all marks for all questions (including those assigned to other personnel) for all students in the bundle have been entered in Enter Assesment Marks on Question Level {TASKS1-32}.
4 If a claim for the person associated with the bundle has already been generated, but no claim for the bundle was copied to Individual Earnings / Deductions {FPRI-2}, the quantity of the existing claim will be updated.
5 No claims will be generated for persons with bundles where claims have already been copied to Individual Earnings / Deductions {FPRI-2}.
6 Contract Rate will be as follows:
  • Contract Rate, as entered in block 3 of the Personnel/Activity Information {SDSERP-1}.
  • If no Contract Rate is entered, the program will use the Detail Tariff Information, as in block 2 of the Default Tariff Information {SDSERP-2}.
  • If no Detail Tariff Information exists, the program will use the Basic Tariff Information, as in block 1 of the Default Tariff Information {SDSERP-2}.
  • If the Personnel Member was only responsible for some of the Questions in the Assignment, the program will apply the Percentage of the Fee for the Question Number, as entered in Assignment in Maintain Assignment Questions {TASKS1-31}, to the Rate (as above) as a final Contract Rate.
7 Quantity will be: the number of Students in the Bundle, with marks or results entered for the Assignment, as entered in Enter Assignment Marks {TASKS1-2} or, in the case of  bundles assigned to more than one personnel member, students with marks entered for all questions in Enter Assesment Marks on Question Level {TASKS1-32}.
8 After an update run:
  • The generated claims may be queried and updated in Maintain Bundle Claims {FPRIM-1} or {FPRCPB-1}
  • The Bundle Information may be queried in block 2 of Query Bundle Claims {FPRIM-3} or {FPRCPB-3}
9 The amount claimed will be validated against the Maximum Amount, Maximum Quantity and Contract Rate for the Subject / Activity as entered in the Personnel Activity Information {SDSERP-1}, so as to ensure that the maximum value of the contract is not exceeded.
