This option is used to capture/view assignment marks as linked to bundles on {TASKS1-2}. If question marks for an assignment were defined on {TASKS1-31} the user can enter marks on Question level. This is used when different lecturers are involved in marking different questions on the same assignment.
When the marks are
entered and the ‘Save’ button is clicked, the result as
defined on {SSTUD3-7} Assessment Result criteria, will default.
If an assignment is a competence based assessment, only results as defined on {SSTUD3-1}
Default Criteria for Calculation in the fields ‘Result for
Competence’ and ‘Result for not yet competent’ may be
entered. The exemption filed may also be inserted but no marks.
The detail can also be viewed on {TASKS1-2} and if the logged in lecturer is also defined as a user on {USERS-5},
the create user will be populated with the user code. If the lecturer
is not a user as well the create user will be ‘WEB’.
If an Assessment is a Re-Submission and a Maximum Mark for Re-Assessment on {SSTUDE-1}
is specified, the Mark entered may not be > the Mark specified. If
the Marks are entered on Question level the Mark accumulated may not be
greater than the Maximum Mark for Re-Assessment.). If the System
Operational Definitions are defined the following personnel will be
able to access the Student Data:
Define mark criteria on {SSTUD3-7}.
For competence based assessment, results must be defined on {SSTUD3-1}.
Students must be linked to bundles on {TASKS1-1}
For Re-Submission and a Maximum Mark for Re-Assessment on define the marks on {SSTUDE-1}.
If question marks apply define questions on {TASKS1-31}

Cycles for assessment marks 'M' or examination marks 'E' must be set on {SMNT-2}

This
is used to view the different bundles linked to the lecturer. The students
linked to a bundle will be displayed.

The
person linked to the bundle as lecturer will be the primary lecturer on
{SACAD-14} – Group and Lecturers will be allowed to vie/update marks. The
marker on the bundle will also be allowed to view/update marks. The marker as
defined on {TASKS1-31} may also enter/view question marks he/she is linked to.
The validation ‘OM’ – Out of Mark is applicable.
The lecturer will be able to view the student’s biographical detail as
displayed in {SSTUDY-21} Biographical Information and all Contact detail that
is available for the student {GCS‑26} or
{SREGB-1} address Information. This can
be seen under all the options where the student numbers are highlighted.

Comments
may be added on a specific student record. If the user clicks on the student
number a pop-up will be displayed to enter comments.

The ‘Can
Complete’ button will save the information and also calculates which Students
can complete, i.e. a Final Mark and Result can be calculated. This is similar
to the ‘Do Compute’ in {TASKS1-2}. The indication
to do the calculation up to Final Marks and Results must be defined on {SSTUDE-1}
indicating Calculate results after last assessment = 'Y'.
To do
the calculation, the user must click on ‘Can Complete’.
