Entry of Exam Question Marks {PL0001-7}

The option allows the capturing exam paper marks on Question Level as defined on {TASKS1-31}. The user will query the bundle reference number and drill down to this application if the question level code structure was defined. The students linked to a bundle on {TASKS1-2} will be displayed. The validation ‘OM’ – Out of Mark is applicable.

The person linked to the bundle as lecturer will be the primary lecturer on {SACAD-14} – Group and Lecturers will be allowed to view/update marks. The marker on the bundle will also be allowed to view/update marks. The marker as defined on {TASKS1-31} may also enter/view question marks he/she is linked to. If the system operational definitions are defined the following personnel will be able to access the student data:

System Operational Definitions {SMNT-12}

LE - "Access to Student Queries" - Lecturer iEnabler: This SOD (Alpha) is used on the Lecturer iEnabler to View/access all students for subject/block/year where assigned as Lecturer on {SACAD-14}, Tab - Block.

ME - "Marker Activity Code" - Lecturer iEnabler: This SOD (Alpha) is used on the Lecturer iEnabler to view/access all students for the subject/block/year where assigned as marker on (activity 0010) {SDSERP-1}.

TU - "Tutor Activity Code" - Lecturer iEnabler: This SOD (Alpha) is used on the Lecturer iEnabler to view/access all students for a qualification/block/year where assigned as tutor on (activity 0020) {SDSERP-1}.

Define mark criteria on {SSTUD3-7}.

For competence based assessment, results must be defined on {SSTUD3-1}.

Students must be linked to bundles on {TASKS1-1}.

For re-submission and a maximum mark for re-assessment on define the marks on {SSTUD3-2}.

If question marks apply define questions on {TASKS1-31}.

Cycles for assessment marks 'M' or examination marks 'E' must be ste on {SMNT-2}.

View Bundle List

This is used to view the different bundles linked to the lecturer. The students linked to a bundle will be displayed.

View Student Biographical Information

The lecturer will be able to view the student’s biographical detail as displayed in {SSTUDY-21} Tab - Biographical Detail and all Contact detail that is available for the student {GCS-26} Tab - Address and Communication Detail

A photo of the student will be displayed if an image exists on the database. See validation ‘WV’ for more details

View Student Qualification Detail

The lecturer will be able to view the qualifications a student is registered for. If the lecturer click on the qualification code, the Subject Detail will be displayed.

View Student Subject Detail

The lecturer will be able to view the subjects a student is registered for.

View Student Certificates

The lecturer will be able to view certificates applicable to the student with and indication if it has been seen or not.

View Student Matric Subjects

The lecturer will be able to view information on the matric subjects of the student.

View Academic Record

The lecturer will be able to view information on the academic record of the student.

Enter Paper Question Marks Numerical/Alphabetical

The person linked to the bundle as lecturer will be the primary lecturer on {SACAD-14} Tab – Group and Lecturers will be allowed to view/update marks. The marker on the bundle will also be allowed to view/update marks. The marker as defined on {TASKS1-31} may also enter/view question marks he/she is linked to. The validation ‘OM’ – Out of Mark is applicable.

The lecturer will be able to view the student’s biographical detail as displayed in {SSTUDY-21} Tab - Biographical Information and all Contact detail that is available for the student {GCS‑26} or {SREGB-1} Tab - Address Information. This can be seen under all the options where the student numbers are highlighted.

Comments may be added on a specific student record. If the user clicks on the student number a pop-up will be displayed to enter comments.

The person linked to the bundle as lecturer will be the primary lecturer on {SACAD-14} , Tab - Group and Lecturers will be allowed to view/update marks. The marker on the bundle will also be allowed to view/update marks

Enter Paper Marks

The ‘Can Complete’ button will save the information and also calculates which students can complete, i.e. a final mark and result can be calculated. This is similar to the ‘Do Compute’ in {TASKS1-2}. The indication to do the calculation up to final marks and results must be defined on {SSTUD3-2} indicating Calculate results after last assessment’= Y

To do the calculation, the user must click on ‘Can Compute’.
