Extract Full Period Marks {SEDLES-4}

This option is used to extract Year marks, Practical Marks ,Internal marks and Subject attendance factor according to the schedule set by the Department of Education as part of the Electronic Data Link to the Examination System (EDLES). The Department will process all marks and make a control file available to the colleges that captured the marks.

Separate files will be produced for Datasets and Campuses.
Define the directory where the output file must be saved {BATCH-7} for the combination System = STUD and function = EDL.
The file names should be in the format CCCCXSYM.TXT, e.g. 5827T15M.TXT will be the file name for Technical studies exam written in Term 1 of 2015 where
- CCCC = Last four characters of the Centre Number
- X = Data Set Indicator as supplied on prompt , i.e. T for Technical Studies
- S = Semester/Term, i.e. 1 for Semester 1
- Y = Last digit of the Examination Year
Exempted Subjects are not reported
Marks are extracted depending on Mark type specified in extract criteria

Year Mark / ICASS {SSTUDA-2}
ISAT mark and Attendance factor {SSTUDA-3}. To identify the mark type to be used as "ISAT" define 'MT' for subsystem 'SR' on {SMNT–12}. Marks for subjects on level 3 (C3) and level 4 (C4) are listed separately.

The extraction of Full period marks relies heavily on the correct set-up of {GOPS-21} as mentioned in the External Conversion Codes section of the EDLES

Example: Core mark differs - when the subject is linked in the Curriculum {SACADO-17} to the same subject type 'C%' , the mark type mark for the subjects the student has been registered for, must be the same. If it differs the report will indicate the mark type mark is not the same. If one of the subjects linked does not have a mark it will reported as outstanding with the subject code specified.
