Identify Students for Registering at NZQA {SNZQAR-1}

Identify Students for registering/reporting at the NZQA and create a 'External Exam Registration' Service Request for the students on {SSTUDS-3}.

The Service request is needed in the NZQA reporting/registration process to be able to identify students taking part in the process.

This will then mean that the student can get all of the communications run through icomms that is needed –

their financial assistance and
information letter and
their Payment and Registration form and
then the confirmation letters that go back to the student after they have returned either of the financial assistance form and or the payment and registration form.

Note: None of the coded data fields in the service request {SSTUDS-3b3}, will be completed until the student returns the appropriate form. All students must pay their (NCEA) fee each year, even if they are only registered for internally assessed standards.

Process to follow to enable the use of this option:

	Setup:
1	Create the Service Request Code to be used in this process on {SSTUDS-1} on tab Service Request Definition and on tab Coded Data add data as prescribed in the manuals for {SSTUDS-1}. Note: This service code must be defined on 'S'tudent level.
2	Setup System Operational Definitions on {SMNT-12}: AA for subsystem SR - Service Request Code for External Exam Registration NR for subsystem DM - No NZQA Reporting Student Status
3	Make sure NZQA School Setup is correct on {SNZQAR-8}.
4	Make sure NZQA Institution Setup is correct on {SNZQAR-9}.
5	Make sure External Exam Extraction Matrix is correct on {SNZQAR-10}.
	Operational:
1	Identify Students who should not be reported/registered at NZQA by linking the status in SOD NR - No NZQA Reporting Student Status to the student on {SREGL-2}.
2	Normal registration activities, including changes and cancellations.

Exclude students

Students that have the status in SOD NR subsystem DM.

Exclude qualification

Where student is cancelled and has moved to another (known) school.

Where qualification was cancelled because of human error (cancelreason where 'Pass Full Financial Credit' = 'Y' on {SCODE-25}).
