  1. GENERAL INFORMATION

This User Manual describes the information relating to OFO Codes in the ITS Integrator South African ETDP SETA Subsystem.

The Organising Framework for Occupations (OFO) is a skills-based, coded classification system which attempts to take all possible occupations in South Africa and classify them by levels of detail. New OFO Codes are released by government on a bi-annual basis. From 2017 the structure of the codes were increased from N6 to A11. They also have additional Specializations and Alternate Descriptions linked.
