Academic Transcript (Detailed)  and Supplement {SSTURA-2} 


This program is used to print a record of a student's academic achievements i.e. subject results, annual qualification results and awarded qualifications as well as the academic transcript supplement.

The academic transcript includes the following detail:
  1. A merit award linked to the student on {SSTUDY-24}.
  2. The primary ‘Y’ qualification description with all the subjects, including additional subjects.
  3. If a student has obtained the qualification, the detail is inserted on {SSTUD7-12}.
  4. When a student has an exclusion status code linked to action code ‘PW’ on {SREGL-2} or
    an exclusion status code linked to action code ‘FW’ on {FSAO-12} or
    an exclusion status code linked to action code ‘LW’ on {LCIM-1b4} TAB: Student Statuses or
    the student account balance is in debit,
    then the result will show “WITHHELD”.
  5. If the suppress indicator for System Cycle 'E' is set to 'Y' in {SSTUDY-1}:
    1. The subject marks and results will not be displayed and the message 'NOT AVAILABLE YET' will show.
    2. If the SOD value for Code 'AE'  for subsystem 'SR' is set to (Y)es in {SMNT-12} and
      the student has any subject results that are in a suppressed cycle, the qualification result will also not be displayed. 
  6. National Qualification ID in {SACADO-7} Approved Qualifications.
  7. Designator and Qualifier in {SACADO-1} and Stats Attributes button.
  8. Translated National Qualification Level Code in {GOPS-21} External Code field for External Body 'HMS' and External Code Type 'NQF.
    1. Do not print the National Credit if the student failed or cancelled a subject
    2. Do not print a value if the National Level for the subject course level is NULL.
  9. Academic Achievement {SCODE-23}
    1. The result code description for the student result from {SSTUD7-12} displays just next to the academic achievement field.
  10. National Total Credits {SACADO-1}

The following detail only prints on the academic transcript supplement.
  1. Nature - This is the description of the major area of the subject from {SACADO-10}
  2. Subject National Level and Credit IN {SACADO-10}
  3. Subject Outcome in {SACAD-17}
  4. Subject Content and Context {SACADT-1}
    1. Subject Content is driven by SOD CT/SR on {SMNT-12}
    2. Subject Context is driven by SOD CX/SR on {SMNT-12}

PLEASE NOTE: This option can be run in batch. The system will store the selected parameters in batch.  To re-use the same batch parameters:
  • The user must query batch and <NEXT BLOCK> to view the request number. 
  • Give a description for this request and <COMMIT>. 
  • Press <NEXT BLOCK> to view the answers to the parameters that were stored. 
By remembering the request number the user may simply supply the request number in batch and the system will automatically use the same parameters when this option is executed.

Rules		  Academic Transcript
  The following fields will only print when the Accredited at CHE? is set to 'Y-Yes'
  1. National Qualification ID
  2. National Qualification Level Description
  3. National Qualification Level Code
  4. National Qualification Credit

The qualification national level description will only print on the first record found if a student has more than one registration for the same qualification in different years.

The program prints the qualification full name but on instances where the qualification full name is NULL then the qualification name will be printed.

  The academic transcript supplement prints just below the academic transcript.

The supplement displays only passed and exempted subjects, these are subjects for all student qualification/s printed on the academic record.
